🐾 I met this sweet guy yesterday at @hcacc_shelter, and he attacked me with an avalanche of hugs and kisses! 💕 Meet Eddie, a delightful bundle of energy who loves to play! He did such a great job posing for me, and I feel these photos truly show his goofy personality.

Eddie is a 4 year old 60 lb stray that was brought in to the Habersham County Animal shelter. He is available for same-day adoption, neutered, and heartworm negative. Major was an owner surrender due to not getting along with other pets, so he needs to be the only pet in the house. He is 8 years old and weighs 80 lbs. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and available for same-day adoption.

Puzzle, the resilient pup, has been pieced back together. Her injury stemmed from trauma rather than a birth defect or illness - likely the result of a forceful blow to her face, fracturing her jaw.  Fortunately, thanks to surgical intervention from Northeast Veterinary Hospital - NEVH, her jaw was repaired using wires and acrylic.

The road to recovery is a long one and comes with its set of challenges. Puzzle must wear a cone and muzzle for the next six weeks which is going to be a difficult task for a young pup unaccustomed to such constraints. Understanding the cone or muzzle proves perplexing to her, adding a touch of frustration.

Her meals require blending into a liquid form and she must navigate carefully to avoid bumping or shaking her healing jaw. Isolation is necessary alongside vigilant pain management.  Through it all her spirit remains resilient, evidenced by her wagging tail and inclination for cuddles.

The Northeast Veterinary Hospital - NEVH provided exceptional care, ensuring Puzzle received immediate medical attention. Once her six-week recovery period concludes, she'll be ready for adoption at @hcacc_shelter. Would you open your heart and home to Puzzle? 🐾 Remembering this superhero pup, Brutus 🐾

Brutus's journey began in the most unlikely of places – discarded in trash bags, he and his littermates defied the odds from the start. Rescued from darkness, he found his way into the loving arms of his human mom, Tori, who showered him with all the love and care he deserved.

Despite battling Parvo as a pup and facing challenges that would have discouraged many, Brutus never wavered in his spirit. His resilience was truly remarkable. At the age of 12, when he lost his sight due to a condition preventing him from producing tears, he faced it with the same courage that defined his entire life.

Tori gave him the best life imaginable, filled with adventures and treats that made his tail wag with delight. Bison heart & steak were his favorite treats, & his dessert of choice was a Puppaccino from @Starbucks.

Brutus's love for travel knew no bounds, and he found solace and happiness in the beach and mountain towns he explored with Tori @sa.dogmoms. The memories of those journeys will forever be etched in her heart.

Sadly, Brutus passed away last year on August 3rd at the age of 14.  It truly was an honor to photograph him & capture his spirit in each frame.

Your legacy lives on, dear Brutus. 🐾 Meet my heart dog, Jazzy! 🐾 She crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019, but her spirit continues to light up my life every single day. Although this photo may not showcase my best work, it holds a special place in my heart because it was taken during a bittersweet time, as we prepared to say goodbye.  It was also the beginning of my dog photography journey.

Jazzy's face is part of my logo, a constant reminder of the love and inspiration she brought into my life. She had an insatiable love for tennis balls, and to make her final days as joyful as possible, I showered her with a mountain of them, wrapped up as an early Christmas present. 🎁 The sheer happiness on her face as she tore into the wrapping paper is a memory I'll cherish forever.

While I wish I had more professional-quality photos of my Jazz girl, her playful spirit and unwavering love continue to fuel my passion for capturing the beauty of our furry companions. 🐶💕 I urge you not to wait until it's too late to capture those precious moments with your pets. Trust me, every day I regret not having a canvas-worthy photo of my fur baby, and I don't want you to feel the same way.

Looking back at this photo, I'm reminded of the beginning of my dog photography journey - a journey filled with wagging tails, wet kisses, and endless adventures alongside furry friends.

This dog has so much love to give! He's dog-friendly, great with kids, and although a bit cautious, he warms up quickly. With time, he'll be your most loyal companion! 💕 Neutered and heartworm negative, he's ready for his forever home.

🍂🐾 Did a photoshoot last fall with my fur baby Pogo. She may be 5 years old but she's an eternal puppy! 🐶🍁 She loves jumping in the leaves & tossing acorns in the air.  You can't help but laugh at her silliness!
