In 1998, I got my first digital camera and loved taking photos as a hobby but my love of photography started back in India when I was a little girl. My friends' dad was a professional photographer and I used to watch him do photoshoots while their mom also did image touchups for high value clients. They even had their own dark room and I was fascinated with the process. I would have to say that this was the moment I got hooked and decided I wanted to be a professional photographer when I grew up.
Why dog photography?
Always an animal lover, I would bring home puppies but never got to keep them so when I got married to a wonderful man who had an equally wonderful dog, I realized just how much of a dog lover I was. And when it came time to say goodbye to my beloved pup of 14 years I made sure to document every last moment we had together.
My rainbow pup is my inspiration to focus on photographing dogs, so much so that she is part of my logo. The photographs taken throughout her life eternalize her very important place in my life and my goal is to capture images that do the same for you. I want to make sure you don't have any regrets about not having enough photos of your fur baby's life.
